Please find below information from the council.

GSUSA has created an optional learning path in gsLearn to provide fun and fast introductions to their new badges. Each five-minute course video provides ideas and goals for approaching each step and choice, examples for keeping the experience girl-led, learning by doing, and cooperative learning, and convenient links to additional resources. To find the videos in gsLearn, search for “GSUSA 2021 New Badges”, then scroll down to select the badge you’d like to view. (Currently, clicking the “Meet the new badges!” banner on your home page will also take you to this learning path.)

Our fall training dates for Outdoors and Overnights Steps 2 and 3 Combined have been established and are available for registration in gsEvents:

·Saturday, September 11, 10am-3pm, Camp DeWitt

·Saturday, September 18, 10am-3pm, The OVAL

·Sunday, October 17, 12pm-5pm, The OVAL

No trainings are planned at this point for Hoover this fall.

Participants must first complete Outdoors and Overnights Step 1 online (in gsLearn) before they attend Outdoors and Overnights Steps 2 and 3.

We’re looking for at least seven Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors to make up our inaugural HNJGIRL Advisory Board. This board will serve as the voice for all girls in Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey by providing input to the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and leadership team. Visit the Groups, Clubs, and Teams page on our website for more details. The application is open through September 12, 2021.
