Inspired threads is an non-profit that is committed to training and employing individuals with disabilities and those facing other significant barriers to employment. They do this by creating unique, comfy blankets from fabric scraps which were headed to the trash.
|The Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK)|
TASK feeds those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offers programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons. You can help by donating school supplies, personal hygiene items ,books and art supplies, socks, working computers. You can also volunteer for Serve a meal from our Escher Street site, Serve dinner from our South Trenton satellite site, SHARE project, and many more.

SHIP creates programs and services that respond to the needs of the poor and working poor. General Needs List, Galley (Soup Kitchen), Mobile Soup Kitchen and Disaster Unit, Emergency Clothes Closet, Medical Clinic, Holiday Meals Program, Food Pantry (Emergency Subsistence Food).
